Talk, talk, talk but no action. Talk, but no action is perhaps the most dangerous way to live life. How quickly do we get lured into a false sense of security, how easy is it to take a thing for granted, to overlook pitfalls, to sugarcoat and gloss over, to make things in our heads as we want them to be, not as they are. Why not act? What downside can there possibly be to acting, failing, learning, acting again (until eventually not failing), rather than wasting life away like a piece of nothing in a constant holding pattern, always relying on others, always waiting for something instead of creating our own future. Do, don’t delay. Doubt yourself? Prove yourself wrong - few things are as satisfying. Without action, life is pointless and you may as well just stop there. Act, move, shake, manifest your fucking destiny. Don’t be stupid. - I refuse to cede control over my life anymore. What the fuck is the point of dedicating my time to people who aren’t willing to fully commit, to really expend their energy. How can you work hard and stop working at 7pm? How can you quit to launch, yet shy away from a few thousand pounds in expenses. Yes, you must walk before you can run, but if you’re an internationally successful athlete, why the fuck are you still debating whether you should even put on your shows. If the athlete wants to wait and debate, then fine, I may have to walk a few steps first. At least I know myself well enough that I’d rather die than to do nothing, to watch others do what I so deeply want to do myself.
