Love is like a sand dune - it is great because of the sun of its parts, but cannot be individually captured. Try to pick it up and hold it, and its little pieces will run through your finders, you cannot hold them all. Appreciate it as a whole, in its entirety, seeing how the millions of little parts form a great big picture. Love is not about feeling one thing for one person at one time, it’s about finding that which makes you happy day after day, wave after wave. Love is a verb, it is an act and requires constant input. As a reward, you receive the greatest gift available to humans, to any of us. To love, to bond with not just one grain of sand, but to find a dune, an unknown rollercoaster of ups and downs, that is to be human.
